What is the MOLLE system ?

M.O.L.L.E (for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is the designation of a system for attaching accessories (pockets, knives, holsters ...) to compatible equipment (vests, bags ...).
Military Origins
The principle of MOLLE bindings comes from the military. Created in the late 90s, its use has been widely developed since 2001 among the American armed forces (Afghanistan then Iraq).Since then, most of the military forces use these fixings and many accessories have been developed and are easily found on the market (pockets, pouches, various fixings).
Through its productions for the armed forces, HPA has long been aware of the interest that this fixation system can have in the civilian environment (leisure and outdoor).

The main interest of the MOLLE system is to allow the configuration of his bag according to his own needs of the moment: Water bottle holder, small or large complementary pocket, lighting ...
One can also use fixings allowing to attach fishing rods, tubes or straps to attach bulky things.

How does it work
Dimensions of MOLLE grid
For some of our products (Infladry range), we have innovated by adapting the MOLLE grid in the form of a grid cut out and welded to the outside of the bag, thus avoiding any sewing.
The most frequent attachment is then done by straps attached to the accessories. These straps allow real braiding of the accessories on the MOLLE grid, ensuring perfect fixing.

By using commercial accessories, or by making your own attachments from straps or velcro, you will adapt your HPA bag to your needs.
